I admit. I used to complain a lot. By a lot, I really mean A LOT. From politics to my everyday life.
I mean, come on. I am a Singaporean afterall. Hehe.
But really, why do we have to complain anyway? If you hate the current situation you’re in, don’t you think that afterall, you are responsible for your own wellbeing? There’s just so much that the government can and cannot do for you.
Hate the morning rush hour?
Then don’t get an eight to five job!
Hate having to squeeze in the train?
Then take a cab!
Cab fares are too expensive?
Then why aren’t you earning enough to afford taking cabs everyday!
Hate your boss?
Well, why are you still keeping the job?
Don’t earn enough?
Well, I am pretty sure that there are other opportunities waiting for you. It’s just waiting for you to realise them.
Oh well, we complain too much. But are we doing anything to improve our current situation?
Remember, you biggest asset is your mindset! Are you making use of it well enough? Well if you aren’t, it’s not too late to start making better use of it!
Afterall, does complaining actually bring you any benefit? Cynics criticise, winners analyse.
Great points! Sometimes the solution to getting out of a bad situation is simply looking at it with a new set of glasses.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
I agree. But too many times I think that we make mountains out of molehills. I have worked hard at living every moment to the fullest and having a positive attitude doing so. Since i’ve been doing that its cool how many of my complaints don’t even seem to exists. Thanks for the post.
